Founding Partner

A founding partner of the firm, Richard J. Quadrino has built a reputation among insurance companies and their law firms as a highly effective trial attorney, class action lawyer, and insurance litigator. In insurance matters, he exclusively represents policyholders.

Mr. Quadrino honed his trial skills as an Assistant District Attorney in Nassau County, New York, as well as at a large law firm, where he represented major insurance companies in cases valued in excess of $100 million. These combined skills and experiences make him well-suited to prosecute national class actions, as evidenced by the successes obtained in the UnumProvident and other insurance class actions.

Mr. Quadrino received a bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Bridgeport School of Law, where he was the recipient of an American Jurisprudence Award in Commercial Law and a successful competitor in the National Moot court Competition.

He served as Chairman of the Insurance Law Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association from 2002 through 2004, is a member of the Federal Bar Council, serves on the Torts and Insurance Coverage Committee and is a member or the Commercial and Federal Litigation Section of the New York State Bar Association.

His practice includes all aspects of litigation in the areas of Class Actions, Insurance Litigation, Complex and Commercial Litigation, Disability Income Insurance, Trials, and Appeals.
