Quadrino Schwartz Defeats Insurance Company’s Effort to Get Injuntion & Gets Subpoena Quashed

In a series of decisions, Quadrino Schwartz has defeated efforts by several insurance companies to obtain an injunction against its client, a medical provider. The insurance companies were attempting to prevent the provider from filing insurance claims and lawsuits to obtain insurance benefits. The Court also quashed subpoenas that were abusive, far reaching "fishing expeditions" for bank records and other information.

The case, One Beacon Insurance Group et al. v. Midland Medical Care, No. 4055/06 (Sup. Ct. Nassau County), is another in a series of battles waged by Quadrino Schwartz on behalf of overly aggressive insurers seeking refunds of benefits paid to medical providers.
