New York Post:  Gang Hit Ordered on Barket Client

Bruce Barket was representing a man accused of causing a stray bullet in a shootout to kill a 2 year old passing by in a minivan. A gang appeared to have ordered a "hit" on Barket's client, who was pleading his innocence and begging for his life to be spared.

Not only was the man's life spared, Barket got him cleared of all charges in the case by stopping a trial in the middle and convincing the District Attorney to drop the case against his client.
