Attempted Murder Acquittal in Shootout Case

Ms. Marion won the acquittal of her client charged with attempted murder in a case involving a shootout that resulted in extensive (seventeen) gunshot wounds. After vigorous cross-examination of the complaining witness it was revealed that the alleged victim had possessed a weapon on the night of the incident and had been shooting at Ms. Marion’s client. Witness testimony established that Ms. Marion’s client was not the initial aggressor and he was acquitted him of attempted murder.
