Dismissal of Social Host Law Case

We succeeded in obtaining the dismissal of a case against the firm's client charged with violating New York’s Social Host Law. The Social Host Law governs the conduct of hosts of parties or events at their home. The dismissal was based upon the prosecution's failure to timely proceed with the case, which is known as a speedy trial dismissal. The New York Law Journal published the decision in its “Decisions of Interest” column.
